With Your Support, Change Happens
Theory of Action
Through engaging in collaborative projects to learn more about their local rivers, as well as rivers around the world, classrooms and communities connect localities to the global community. Through this endeavor, the world environment will be advanced for the next 100 years.
Focus on Literacy
A critical focus of the River Literacy Project is literacy: developing fluency and meaning making through reading, writing, listening and speaking activities that integrate multiple academic disciplines: mathematics, science, history, language arts, cultural studies, and technology.
Global Learning Community
Teachers, students, researchers and field experts come together to learn and share. Through collaborative research, investigation, video chats and more, classrooms and communities connect localities to the global community.
